OUR BEGINNING

A language.
A little closer.

“I'm learning Russian because I want to communicate more naturally with the people I love most.”

My girlfriend, Kseniia, is Russian. I wanted to speak her language, share more of everyday life, and feel closer to her and her family.

After years of learning Japanese and Spanish, I had a sense of what helped me learn. I started building Ksenio to bring those things together in one place, for a very personal reason.

When I showed it to her, she encouraged me to share it. Her belief in it has kept me going ever since. Ksenio is named after her.
